MOVE

by Rick Mereki

3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage… all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ….into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films…..

= a trip of a lifetime.

curiositycounts:

Absolutely astounding timelapse of Island’s Midnight Sun, a natural phenomenon occurring in the summer months north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle where the sun never fully sets and remains visible 24 hours a day. Filmmaker Joe Capra traveled for 17 days around the island, sleeping in a car and shooting nearly 24/7 for a grand total of 38,000 images.   (via)
